Spirit Week
Spirit Week is upon us. One of my big tasks every bit Student Council Adviser is coordinating Spirit Week.
I was the type of pupil inwards high schoolhouse who NEVER dressed upward for Spirit Week. I approximate I but wasn't that spirited. LOL
My Student Council kiddos become to choice the dress-up days for Spirit Week. And, every time, it seems similar one-half the pupil trunk HATES the days that were chosen. This semester, I decided to accept a slightly unlike approach.
I had my StuCo kids brand a listing of days to direct from. Then, nosotros had the pupil trunk produce upward one's remove heed which 4 days they wanted to celebrate. I reasoned that if students had a tell inwards how they dressed up, they would complain less as well as participate more.
Of course, this did non travel out perfectly. Half of my pupil council members are currently mad at me because our Spirit Week turned out to hold out "too juvenile." I'm trying to non allow it bother me. As my mom told me on the outcry the other day, 5 years from now, these students volition non recall whatever of the clothes upward days.
