Randomness

1.  I am together with then thankful for having had Thanksgiving Break.  I actually needed the fourth dimension to footstep away from schoolhouse for a few days together with recharge my batteries.  (And, I only realized that I nonetheless know the Castilian term for "recharge my batteries."  Is that weird?  I haven't had a Castilian shape since Fall of 2009.)  But, I was actually bothered past times how much my students seemed to accept forgotten over Thanksgiving Break.  Before Thanksgiving Break, nosotros had spent close a calendar week on graphing lines inwards gradient intercept shape too equally horizontal together with vertical lines.  However, afterward Thanksgiving Break, it was similar my students had forgot to produce things equally elementary equally graph a betoken on the coordinate plane.  They were inventing all of these novel together with creative (and incorrect!) ways to graph points.  I'm worried, now, though, close how much data they volition accept retained when they come upwardly dorsum from Christmas Break which is much longer.
