Well, despite all my efforts, my precautionary measures failed.
Teaching has definitely changed me. I've never idea then much nearly germs or the uncomplicated deed of touching a door knob. I instantly sympathize why my high schoolhouse chemical scientific discipline instructor had a loving cup of pencils that she allowed students to run too a loving cup of pencils that were solely for her use. I'm pretty certain that I've used to a greater extent than paw sanitizer inwards the by few weeks than the residuum of my life combined.
Luckily, it's simply a caput mutual frigidity instead of i of the to a greater extent than serious things going around. Still, I'm tired of the sniffling too coughing too sneezing. I taught Th too Fri amongst a sore throat, too I could definitely nation I wasn't at the overstep of my game every bit a result.
I had a surprise visitor inwards my classroom on Fri afternoon, though. A pupil from a local academy was inwards the edifice to bring out i of our scientific discipline teachers. When the scientific discipline instructor had to leave, the pupil was somehow directed to my classroom to observe. I was happy to accept her, but I felt kinda unprepared. I didn't experience great. My students were coming dorsum afterwards non doing then good on yesterday's test. My desk was a disaster zone. It's crazy to intend that I was that college pupil a twelvemonth ago. And, now, I accept college students observing me.
I desire to apologize for my absence inwards the math blogging/twitter Blue Planet of late. The commencement twelvemonth of teaching, every bit I'm finding out, tin endure rather overwhelming. School drama too responsibilities accept left me exhausted. I've learned a lot from the experiences, though, too I promise to bring out the fourth dimension to part what I accept been learning amongst you lot all,
I know this is long overdue. But, I'm jumping dorsum into the blogging Blue Planet today amongst a graphic organizer template I created to innovate graphing inequalities to my Algebra two students. Students filled this out too glued it inwards their interactive notebooks. I posted a film of this concluding semester, but I never posted the template. Oops...
