Slope Dude Says

Last week, nosotros got to play ane of my favorite algebra games ever: Slope Dude Says.

Before playing the game, I had to brand certain my students had been introduced to Slope Dude.

I told them that nosotros were going to lookout adult man my most favorite math video inwards the whole world.

Some students had seen it before, but others hadn't.

After watching the video, I announced nosotros were going to play a fun game.  I seat upward this slide amongst the rules.  

It's merely similar Simon Says, but kids are asked to brand diverse gradient motions.  I ever demonstrate the dissimilar types of gradient for my students then they know what to facial expression amongst the game.  

I tell students to pretend they are looking at the graph equally they brand their motions.  When I'm judging them from the front end of the room, their positive slopes facial expression similar negative slopes together with vice versa.
