For this activity, some of my students opted to role bingo chips (affiliate link) spell others opted for two-colored counters (affiliate link).

I mistakenly idea I could merely run yesteryear out the gameboards in addition to supplies in addition to my students would larn at 1 time to playing.  Most of them sat nonetheless in addition to confused until I read the instructions aloud in addition to briefly explained what the instructions meant.  Any advice on how to brand my students to a greater extent than independent when it comes to reading instructions?  I've tried to strength them to read them on their ain without explanation, but that unremarkably merely results inwards my spending the side yesteryear side 5 minutes going some the room in addition to informing students that they are playing the game incorrectly.  :(

Here are a few activity pics of my students playing.

My kids must direct keep enjoyed the game because for several days subsequently nosotros played, they would enquire to play Skittles every fourth dimension nosotros had a few strange minutes left at the terminate of class.
